Front End Repair & Front End Alignment

Your vehicle’s steering and suspension components all work together in what is known as your vehicle’s ‘front end’.  This includes (when equipped) shocks/struts, control arms, rack and pinion or gear box, steering components, drag links, center links, idler arm, pitman arm, steering dampener and anything else that works to keep your vehicle’s ride stability tip-top.

Rough roads can be pretty tough on these components, which have a finite service life as it is. Whether your vehicle needs shocks or struts, steering component repair, or suspension work, our ASE-Certified technicians have the expertise to diagnose and resolve your front-end issues.

Replacing most front-end components will usually necessitate a wheel alignment since the repair process will naturally force the vehicle out of alignment.  Our state-of-the-art computerized alignment equipment has everything we need to keep your vehicle’s steering and suspension systems on track.

Frequently Asked Questions

Front-end components, like control arms, steering components, etc. are considered ‘wear and tear’ parts.  This means that the useful lifetime of the parts is correlated with the number of miles put on them and the type of service they deal with.  For example, an off-road vehicle that deals with lots of bumps will wear the suspension out faster than a vehicle that only ever drives on the highway.

Most of the time, yes.  Front-end components are inextricably linked with the steering and suspension system and in most cases, their removal and replacement will result in a misaligned vehicle.
